I’m a 22 year old college student and I recently spent a month and a half in the hospital undergoing emergency surgery to remove my colon. Not fun, especially since there were a lot of complications. Luckily I made it through and as much as I would like something permanent to commemorate the ordeal I’m not the tattoo kind of girl so I’ve been looking for customizable jewelry. I want to buy a gift for my sister who is finishing medical school. My hope was that I would be able to engrave a latin phrase on a pendant. Would it be possible to engrave “AD ASTRA PER ASPERA” on one of your charms?

I grew up in Kansas. The Kansas state motto is “Ad Astra Per Aspera” which is Latin for “to the stars through the wilderness” or “to the stars through great difficulties”.  ;)
